    Exceptional

I would like to thank the staff for up-grading our room for our 50th. wedding anniversary. Nov 17

    Very good

Enjoyed the loft suite with wood fireplace, had a mini kitchen with seating area, extra space for sleeping via pullout couch, balcony facing the courtyard.

Working on the roof at the time (no biggy) but the hall noise could be less with a bunch of teenage girls down the hall yelling in their room carried through the walls. But it was quite up in the loft while sleeping enjoying the skylight.

    Breakfast was good.

Loft room is a little too small. Kitchen is too small.

    Fabulous

We stayed in a loft room for 4 nights with 2 toddlers. The service was excellent! When we called down for extra pillows and a fire log for our fire place, the items were delivered to us within minutes! Our bed, and even the hide-a-bed were very comfortable. The appliances in the kitchenette were very modern. We were given one free complimentary fire log per day, which was perfect to light while we were settling down for bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the pool was perfect for the kids as well as the grown-ups, and the location of the hotel was perfect for us. It is out of the way of all the heavy traffic, but close enough to walk to shop and try other restaurants.

The loft room has a sky light, and is on the top floor, so when it rained at night, the sound of the rain kept a few of us awake. On our last night, the roof started to leak from the rain, but they had just got the crews in to redo the roofing, so this problem should be fixed in no time. Also, the tub was not deep enough for a relaxing bath -- but the hot tub, sauna, and steam room made up for it!!

    Very good

Friendly, helpful staff and a reasonable choice for breakfast more than we were expecting and better than a slightly more expensive hotel we later stayed in , in Banff.

Room was lower ground with windows but a little dark - however fulfilled our needs.

    Very good

The loft room was just right for our purposes. The cleaning staff were very attentive. The location and the price were good and the beds were comfortable.

Unfortunately the walls between rooms in the upstairs bit of the loft were very thin and we could hear everything next door so 2 out of the 3 nights it kept us awake until the other guests decided to go to sleep which was very late one night. This is a shame as everything else was good.

    Comfort of the room.

No patio table, Toilet seat would not stay up and had to be held when being used by a male person.

    Good

When using the restaurant the bill has an automatic 15% service charge added. Then the credit card slip has a space for adding a service charge. One of these should be removed.

We have traveled from Australia to be offered a basement suit well overpriced.

    Very good

Availability and location were important. Free wifi and breakfast were also draws. It was also very quiet.

A lot of money for a quick stay and fine but not extra but it is a resort town.

Nice hotel with good rooms and pleasant staff. lowest level suites have too little daylight, but are of good quality. Spa is nice and clean.

    Fabulous

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and the breakfast in their Restaurant on site was great. Nice variety of food and lots of it. A friend whom is a resident in Jasper told us she eats breakfasts there as it is very good. Love the pool, hot tub and steam room there! Clean and nice. It was quiet and peaceful as you are right in the heart of our beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains!

I felt that the price we paid was high due to the fact the room was only 3/4 refurbished. The appliances were probably from the 70's and fridge had no freezer door and the temperature unit dial was missing with the metal knob exposed on the inside of the the unit. It worked okay but should be replaced. There was no drainboard for the dishes to be place to dry. There was rust in the inside of the steel cupboard beneath the sink and the sink taps were corroded. There was debris under the other cupboard. The hide a bed mattress was terrible and my friends had a terrible sleep! This was a suite so for the price of this the room it should have been fully equipped and with updated appliances and such. We brought our own food to cook; this was a terrible disappointment as the other parts of the suite were very nicely done.

    Good

    Good position and comfy beds.

They were the only hotel we stayed in to not give the total cost of the stay including tax on the confirmation e mail. We stayed in a total of 6 hotels this trip. No where does it say that although the children are free to stay under 17 each child will be charged for breakfast. We paid $80 for the 4 nights for the breakfast which we knew nothing about until paying our bill on the final day. Since returning home I have looked at the website and can find nothing that states this or the prices charged. No air conditioning also needs to be high lighted as our first night in particular was very uncomfortable despite the fan they provided. We found it to be an expensive hotel for what we got.

  • 6.2
    Good

Cozy rooms & fully equipped kitchen.

No airconditioning. Summer temperatures were quite hot (30+ centigrade). This made the stay quite uncomfortable; particularly during the day time. Also, those rooms which are not on the ground floor would be difficult for older people and with luggage.
